Characteristic: white or offwhite crystal or powder, odorless, tasteless, color becomes dark on meeting light; slightly soluble in alcohol and propanone, almost insoluble in water, easy solulbe in sodium hydroxide solution or ammonia solution, soluble in dilute hydrochloride acid.

Usage: Applicable in the treatment of hemolytic streptococcus, meningococcal, pneumococcal and other infections diseases, efficacy and lasting.
